Great sale with an India flair. Includes many carvings, traditional decor, fabrics and antique items, jewelry.
Two rooms of saris, with tops. Many are silk, with gold threads and some mixed cotton and silk. Kanchipuram Silk saris. (also called Kanjeevaram sari) made in the Kanchipuram region in Tamil Nadu, India.
The jewel of the sale is a handmade violin, circa 1800’s in India. Read about its very touching provenance.
Other items include lighting, some furniture and Indian art and movie posters. New t-shirts from various local festivals, music, electronics.
